Reading the dynamics of the race and having a good sense of timing is just as important when it comes to backing the right camels and taking the victory.

No tutorial
I went to the tutorial option but it does nothing to teach you how to play or score. So, this is a useless app for me since Ive never played before.
Glitchy
While I absolutely love the board game, the app version is really glitchy. It freezes up almost every time I play it. Disappointing.
So close ...
There is a lot to like here, but a lot of unpolished and inelegant sharp edges. The app itself is insufficient to teach you how to play this game. But the real deal breaker is that the game gets some of the basic rules wrong, and inconsistently at that, making the current app a total dud that should be avoided at all costs. Update: the new version does not fix the incorrect camel stacking rules. Ugh. How could they get this wrong? Still 1 star.
Dont buy this yet
If youve never played Camel Up, DO NOT get this app, at least until theyve updated it a few times past 1.0.0. It has no tutorial, some things are poorly explained on the rules page, and some things are just not explained in the rules at all. If you already know what youre doing, then it may be fun, but I cant speak to that. Simply put: This was released without publicity, because its not ready for release yet.
Almost there, but not yet
Rule book is a little vague, but seems concise. I steady knew how to play, so take that for what it is. AI needs to be a little more AI and a little less Precognitive. On Pro level, the AI will select the winner of the leg after the first roll... Every time. I havent done better than last place every single time Ive played against any number of pro AI. And thats with 40 or more points sometimes.
